Job SummaryThe Product Development Coordinator is responsible in assisting the Product Development team in the coordination of the development, completion and implementation of projects as assigned. Coordinate with Product Development team on project to ensure timely product launches and successful project completion with products and projects that align with company goals and objectives. Minimum Requirements: A successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in marketing or a business related field. Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well and communicate with all levels in the organization both orally and written. Strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to multi-task, and be highly flexible and able to change directions easily. Must be innovative, and demonstrate critical thinking skills. Must be able to define and solve problems, collect data, establish facts, and formulate valid conclusions. Must have good knowledge of Microsoft Suite based products and computer skills with emphasis on Excel. Must be able to work independently but also be a team player. Ability to function effectively under pressure. Must maintain confidentiality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains Lodge's product physical properties database for all new, current, and discontinued items.
  • Ensure product documentation is kept current and consistent including product description, physical properties, UPC and case/master pack information.
  • Initiates and ensures the publication of new item numbers created in the MAS/Sage system.
  • Manages internal UPC database.
  • Manage our internal requisition software for the Product Development team.
  • Gathers, analyses and reports sales and inventory data from the MAS/Sage system on a monthly basis for the viability and performance of products in the market.
  • Provides research to assist in the development, planning and management of products, projects and marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with projects and coordinates progress with multiple departments.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating Lodge's project management software including scheduling jobs and assigning tasks.
  • Comfortable performing various administrative and logistical duties.
  • Supports research and development of new and/or potential products, market spaces/ trends. Monitors the competitive landscape, market trends, and product life cycles.
  • Coordination of all samples requirements.
  • Any and all other job related duties as assigned.
